Watch World Cup 2006 Matches Free From your Computer


For all those world cups fans who do not have access to tv or cable subscriptions, you can still watch world cup matches live from your pc for free, all you need is a fast internet connection.

Goto TVAnts website to download the p2p tv client , TVantsSetup, install it. Then, go to http://mirror.tvants.com/detail.asp?id=239834 (CCTV5) to watch your World Cup Live Match straight from your pc, there will be a dialog box asking for your username and password, ignore it and you should be fine. The catch is, the commentary is served in Chinese language.

Alternatively if you are really in low budget and only lives in console environment, then you can try ascii-wm. Follow the instruction at the website (you need a telnet client) and you should be able to watch world cup live on your computer console (in ASCII !!).
